STEPS TO FOLLOW TO OBTAIN A TOURIST LICENCE IN BENIDORM

Verification of municipal regulations and requirements for tourist accommodation.
Management and delivery of the necessary documentation to obtain the urban compatibility license at the town hall.
List with emergency telephone numbers and evacuation rules to be placed at the entrance door according to Decree 10/2021, of 22 January, of the Consell.
Management and delivery of the documentation required by the Ministry of Tourism to obtain the tourist license.

WHAT DOCUMENTS ARE NECESSARY TO RENT A TOURIST HOME IN BENIDORM?

Licence for the first or second occupation of the dwelling or the equivalent enabling title provided for in Decree 12/2021, of 22 January, of the Council regulating the declaration of responsibility for the first and successive occupation of dwellings
Urban compatibility license: this document certifies that the city council authorizes the activity of tourist apartment
Energy efficiency certificate: Although it is not required by the administration to grant the tourist license, it is mandatory to be able to rent the property.
Civil liability insurance: Document required by the Ministry of Tourism to obtain the license.
Evacuation rules for housing with emergency telephone numbers of the municipality: Requirement by the Ministry according to Decree 10/2021, of January 22, of the Consell.
Vinyl with the logo of the Generalitat on the door and registration number of the tourist license.
Complaint forms.
Certificate from the community of owners or registered statutes indicating the non-prohibition of tourist use of the property.
Visitor registration in SES. ACCOMMODATIONS.

REQUIREMENTS FOR TOURIST ACCOMMODATION IN BENIDORM

Lifts from the fourth floor.
Hot water.
Evacuation plan or evacuation rules and list of emergency telephone numbers located on the door of the house.
Master bedroom larger than 10 m².
Kitchen of more than 5 m².
Fume extractor, oven/microwave, electric iron, refrigerator.
Internet connection, unless the property is located in a geographical area without coverage.
First aid kit.
Reception service. It is forbidden to hand over keys through boxes located on public roads.

(3) The provision of cleaning and laundry services, linen change, repairs, maintenance and garbage collection will be governed by the provisions of the contract entered into for the occupation of the accommodation unit. The person responsible for the provision of these services will be the owner or holder of the activity, and must channel the requests of the clientele, being able to offer it directly or through third parties, without the mere indication of a professional or company that provides the service being possible.
