To carry out the procedures before the Register of Certification of Energy Efficiency of Buildings, the person responsible for the procedure must have a digital certificate issued by the Generalitat Valenciana, by the National Mint and Stamp, by Professional Signature or have an electronic DNI.
The process of registering certificates can be delegated, by the developer or the owner of the property, either to the certifying technician or to another person of his trust.

- If the registration is not carried out by the owner, a document of delegation of the procedure will be provided, for which a model is provided in the documentation section, in the public part of the IVACE website: . In this case, the owner's ID will also be provided, in pdf, and ID of the person carrying out the registration process.

•  How is it processed?

Steps The registration of building energy performance certificates is done electronically in the url, to which the various agents and agencies involved in the process will have access to enter the information.
The computer programs recognized for the energy rating of buildings can be downloaded from the website of the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism (access the link from the "Additional information" section).

• Additional information

* APPOINTMENT OF AUTHORISED AGENTS (NEW BUILDINGS AND RENOVATIONS/EXTENSIONS) For the registration of the energy performance certificate of the project and the energy performance certificate of the finished building, the developer shall designate as authorised agents: the competent technician responsible for the energy performance certificate of the project and the competent technician responsible for the energy performance certificate of the finished building. In order to register the certificates, these agents must be previously registered as users of the system.

• * REGISTRATION OF CERTIFICATES

In new buildings and in the reforms/extensions referred to in article 3.1 d) of Royal Decree 390/2021, prior to the start of the building works, the registration of the energy efficiency certificate of the project must be carried out. Once the building is finished, the energy performance certificate of the finished building must be registered. For existing buildings or parts of buildings, the certificate must be registered prior to the sale or rental thereof. For other buildings, the energy performance certification of the buildings, and the corresponding registration, must follow the calendar set out in RD 390/2021.
